逆に、反対に、あべこべに

同じ「逆に」の意味でaroundの代わりに以下を使って
「the other way round」とも言いますし、
「the other way about」はイギリスで使われているフレーズです。

＝想定していたもの、予想していた結果の反対

soughtはseekの過去形で、seek outで「探し出す、見つけ出す」、
「（特定の人や物を）見つける」という意味です。

not を先頭につけて、not the other way aroundと使われることが多い表現です。
その「逆ではない」という意味合いです。
